What the price covers.
- Delivery, set-up and collection. Within 20 miles of Faringdon. We fill it, heat it and show you how it works.
- Filled and started on delivery day. We fill from your hose, dose the water and start it heating or chilling. Allow up to 24 hours to reach temperature.
- Thermal cover and steps. Keeps the heat in and the leaves out.
- Chemicals, test strips and filter. Enough for the whole hire, with a two-minute daily routine.
- Outdoor RCD lead. Heavy-duty, up to 15 metres. No electrician needed.
- Jets and LED lighting. Hydrotherapy jets and colour-changing lights built into the tub.
- Monthly service visit. On long-term hires: full drain, clean and refill every four weeks.
- WhatsApp support. Message us during the hire and we sort it.
Deposit and payment
£50 booking deposit once we confirm availability, balance seven days before delivery. Long-term hires are billed monthly in advance. Card or bank transfer.
Peak weeks
Each hire week overlapping 20 December to 3 January: £100 supplement on hot tub and bundle hires. Book by mid-November. Bank holidays are standard price.
Extras
3 m gazebo with sides £69 a hire. Extra water change and clean £49. Damage waiver £19, capping your liability at £250. Delivery 20 to 25 miles from Faringdon: £40 each way on monthly and long-term hires only.
Cancellation
More than 14 days before delivery: full refund of the deposit. Inside 14 days: deposit kept, dates moved once for free. Weather is not a reason to cancel: the tub is 38°C whatever the sky is doing.
Electricity: about £2 a day.
The hot tub uses roughly 7 to 10 kWh a day holding 38°C with the cover on. At the October 2026 Ofgem price cap of 26.32p per kWh that is £1.85 to £2.65 a day, or about £15 a week. The one-off heat-up from cold is another £10 or so. The cold plunge chiller uses 1 to 1.5 kWh a day: under 50p.
Water: about 900 litres to fill, roughly £3 on a meter.
Hire or buy?
A decent hard-shell plug-and-play tub costs £5,000 to £8,000 to buy, plus a base, a cover lifter and the chemicals habit. A winter with SoakSpeed at £449 a month is £1,347 for three months, serviced, and it leaves in March. Try it for a month first: if you buy one afterwards, we will happily tell you which.
